OUR STORY

CT Country Wheatens and is a family based breeder of Soft Coat Wheaten Terriers and Golden Doodles (for information on our Golden Doodles please visit us at www.ctcountrydoodles.com). After growing up with my own parents breeding puppies, I decided to continue on my own breeding Soft Coat Wheaten Terriers.

Our breeding dogs aren't just for breeding, they are our family pets.  Our pets live in our house and are an integral part of our daily lives.  They are well socialized with our children.  This leads to puppies that thrive in a one on one or family environment.

At Country Wheatens we pride ourselves on breeding quality puppies.  Our puppies are born in our home and raised with constant care and attention.  Our mothers are DNA tested.  Our breeding Soft Coat Wheaten Terriers are all PLE/PLN tested, as well as generation PennHIP tested.   We strive consistently improve our bloodlines and to improve the breed for generations to come.

We are rigorous in screening and selecting the right home for each puppy.  If we do not think your home is the best place for them, we will redirect you to a different breeder who may be a better fit. We strive to create a relationship with the families who take our puppies that goes beyond just the placement of your puppy.
